50 Years Working at Thames Hospital

Robyn Wilson started working at Thames Hospital as a wards maid when she was 16 and never left.

Nearly 50 years later, she enjoys working at the hospital in a similar role. Recently she has also been photographing current hospital staff for the hospital’s 150th celebrations.

Nearing the 50-year mark crept up on her.

“I remarked to someone about the hospital being 150 years, he said ‘so you’ve been here a third of the time’ – I thought oh my God.
