Ron Cooke is one of many seniors embracing technology to access health care.

Smart Health Services is a free online service that can be accessed from smartphones, laptops and tablets.

Consultations can also be accessed through video link at the Taumarunui Hospital.

By using the technology, Cooke saved himself a two hour drive to Waikato Hospital and eliminated the stress of finding a car park. Read the full story on Stuff.
